The new Lighthouse Sea Hotel is not a building. It reduces its footprint to a light metal cover that protects its guests from the sun. As every lighthouse, the hotel is a landmark challenging with a strong landscape, pushing its sight to the far horizon.

This approach generated different solutions for the coverings of the different functions hosted. This variety is kept together into a unique huge sign that combines the plasticity of Casa Malaparte with the openness to the landscape of modern californian houses.
