A Play of Volumes Beneath the Sun
The project unfolds from a few clear and simple guiding principles, made visible in the very form of the building. At its heart lies the assembly and concert hall, enclosed within a solid central block — a bold parallelepiped that upholds a broad terrace above. This terrace acts as a kind of elevated neighborhood piazza: open to the park, yet sheltered and secure thanks to its raised position and the access provided through the civic center itself. Surrounding this core volume, a constellation of smaller forms comes together, each designed to host the range of activities envisioned in the original brief.
